Learning through the process of Human Rights Education together with teachers and educational institutions
Amnesty International works with educational institutions, and everyone involved in the learning process to ensure that values and principles of human rights become parts of living in school life. Therefore, this is the origin of the project “Human Rights Friendly School” that many counties around the world focus on.
Human Rights Education Team of Amnesty International Thailand organizes a ‘Human Rights Education classes’ that focuses on designing the human rights learning process for students from junior-high schools to universities. Nowadays, There are more than 40 educational institutions, schools, universities, and agencies cooperating with us. Human Rights Education can take place anywhere and must reach and connect a variety of people. Therefore, we expand the scope of the Human Rights Education, and expand the learning process beyond more classrooms into various activities such as online discussion through Clubhouse, documentary film screening, English-speaking events on human rights situations, “Human Rights, Human Learn Program”, etc.
